Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Portfolio Management to support the Portfolio Management team in managing obligations associated with project financing transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-departmental collaboration to ensure disciplined and accurate project reporting as it relates to compliance with tax equity and debt financing transactions, and to develop and maintain data-driven support for all key obligations.
  • Maintain standard set of guidelines, including developing and maintaining standard operating procedures that apply to multiple groups in organization supporting financing compliance.
  • Review project financial documents to ensure consistency, quality control and best practices for portfolio compliance management.
  • Create project financing presentations to ensure details on tax equity distributions, loan repayment, interest, timelines, and calculations are accurately represented to mitigate risks. 
  • Engage with lenders on ongoing basis as part of portfolio maintenance and reporting.
  • Work closely with Legal department to ensure agreement and understanding of all compliance obligations.
  • Collaborate with the Treasury and Analytics teams to calculate project distributions and fees, ensuring that all payments are paid according to project documents.
  • Support in establishing best practices and tools for team and overall financing compliance.
 
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or similar discipline required.
  • 2+ years of experience in project finance and/or commercial/investment banking.
  • Experience in management of compliance obligations related to financing transactions.
  • Renewable energy and/or energy storage experience is preferred.
  • An understanding of project financing, ideally with tax equity knowledge, including expertise and understanding of relevant tax and GAAP regulations, contractual matters and analytical models.
  • Ability to support due diligence, manage data rooms, and understand commercial negotiations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional environment, including supporting the financial, legal, and internal review and approval processes necessary to successfully manage complex compliance obligations.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, attention to detail and accountability, and an ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Compensation and Benefits
The actual salary and bonus offered will depend on the specific skills and experience of the selected candidate.

 
Salary: $115,000Bonus: 20%

Location
This position is classified as remote; however, periodic travel to company offices, project sites, or other meeting locations may be required on an as-needed basis.
