About The Role
We are seeking individuals to join as Operational Excellence Lead to support Asset Management and Operations by developing scalable processes, systems, and best practices for the safe, reliable, and commercially effective operation of utility-scale BESS assets. This position will report to the Associate Director of Asset Management. This person will be responsible for incorporating AI tools to improve efficiencies and improve processes. This role will lead the onboarding and optimization of the company’s enterprise agreement and operations management system, Sitetracker, including contract obligation extraction using AI and other tools, and tracking and documentation standardization. This role will also support logging and implementing in SItetracker, pre-COD activities for upcoming projects, process workflows and punch list items, project onboarding activity, and other documentation and reports, as needed.
The Lead will drive continuous improvement across the organization by identifying process gaps, developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOP), implementing best practices and using AI and other tools to create templates, dashboards, and workflows that improve consistency, accountability, and operational discipline across the operating fleet.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead Sitetracker implementation, optimization, governance, and user adoption for post-COD operations.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, templates, and training materials for the contract management system and general Asset Management workflows.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate contract, O&M, warranty, compliance, safety, and technical requirements into repeatable operating processes and workflows for Sitetracker.
- Use AI to identify and solution process gaps, incorporate lessons learned, and continuously improve opportunities across operating assets and projects under construction.
- Manage special projects as needed to improve the use of Sitetracker and support continuous improvements and increased efficiencies.
- 4+ years of experience in program management, project management, business operations, systems implementation, or a related function.
- Experience with Sitetracker or optimizing enterprise tools such as contract management, project management, document management, CMMS, or workflow systems.
- Experience using AI tools to improve workflows, documentation, data organization, reporting, process automation, or business operations.
- Strong project management skills, including managing multiple workstreams, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, tracking open items, and driving tasks to completion.
- Excellent organization and documentation skills, including experience creating SOPs, process maps, trackers, training materials, or reporting tools.
- Strong process improvement mindset, with ability to identify gaps, standardize workflows, and create scalable processes.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable creating structure in ambiguous or fast-moving environments.
- Experience in renewable energy, energy storage, utilities, construction, infrastructure, or other asset-intensive industries; preferred but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, document management, project management, information systems, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Harvey) to improve efficiency, quality, and responsiveness of work, while applying sound judgment and appropriate oversight.
Compensation, Location & Benefits
The actual salary and bonus offered will depend on the specific skills and experience of the selected candidate.

This position is classified as remote within the continental United States (international work is not permitted); however, periodic travel to company offices, project sites or other meeting locations may be required on an as-needed basis.
